Nordvpn threatens reviewers on Trustpilot!

That's right, they have recently started actually threatening people who give them a bad review.

Here are the screenshots:

Wow, if they don't like a review, now they will accuse the review of being fake, and will try to get it removed.

But guess what? Nordvpn is the one that was posting fake reviews.  When I first landed on their review page on trustpilot, I got this warning:

I can't enlarge it enough, so here's the text:

Dear Trustpilot users,
Our customised software has discovered a large number of fake reviews on this domain and we've removed them. The manipulation of reviews is a threat to consumers and businesses and we take it very seriously.
We'll continue to safeguard the integrity of our community by fighting attempts to game the system, and we'll inform our users when we uncover deliberate attempts to cheat. Read more about how we combat fake reviews here: https://www.trustpilot.com/trust/combating-fake-reviews

It's nice to see a review site that actually puts people before corporations.  So Nordvpn was posting lots of fake reviews, and now it's threatening people who post real but negative reviews.

Also, I noticed their rating is now down to 3 out of 5, with 36% of reviews being bad to poor.

I made a note of the various issues people mentioned:

gives people the runaround on refunds.

Slow servers

Support does not know how to fix problems

frequent crashing

Automatic auto-renewals even if you cancel

Obfuscated servers don’t obfuscate

They take the money and cut customers off after a short time

 And the hypocrisy is incredible.

Does this sound like a well-run company? NO!  Stay far away from them.
